David
T. Rosell is the President of Rosell
Surveying and Mapping, Inc. and has over 30 years of
experience. He has been a licensed professional for
21 years. Dave has become a specialist in boundary,
record maps, right of way engineering, pipeline layout
and as-builts, construction staking and ALTA's. Dave
has an extensive computer background and is proficient
in the use of AutoCAD and Microstation, as well as numerous
other computer programs including GPS processing software.
Dave has been involved in many large single family and commercial
developments throughout California and Colorado. Dave surveyed
over 50 square miles for the preliminary mapping of the new
Denver Airport, and he was instrumental in surveying over 60
miles of railroad right of ways in the Los Angeles basin for
the Metro Rail Project. Dave has extensive GPS training and
has used GPS to tie in control for the Los Angeles County Redline
subway system, and has used GPS for topography, construction
staking, as-builts and geodetic control network. Dave manages
the overall operations of the company, but will sit at a computer
to prepare a map or run a field crew in order to get the job
out. Dave is licensed in both California and Colorado.
Patrick
Donohoe,
LSIT, Senior Party Chief and Field Support Specialist. Pat
has over 10 years experience in the surveying industry. With
over 8 years of that specializing in the petroleum and chemical
industry. Pat has been a key member on many large scale pipeline
projects including Kinder Morgan’s east line expansion
phase 1 (engineering and planning). He has also staked and
as-built over a 1000 miles of pipelines in the greater Los
Angeles region. He is skillful in boundary, topography and
ALTA surveys, in addition to all forms of construction staking.
He is skilled in the use of AutoCAD, Microstation and Starnet
least squares adjustment software, and takes many of his projects
from field to finish. |

Aaron
Tillmanns,
LSIT, Chief of Parties and Project Surveyor.
Aaron has 10 years of experience and is proficient in
preparing boundary and topographic maps, ALTA's, Tentative
and Final maps. He supports the field crews by providing
them with coordinates and calculations. Aaron is skillful
in both AutoCAD and Microstation, and runs our mapping
department.
Chad Rosell, Party Chief, has 10 years
of experience and is proficient in the use of AutoCAD
and takes many of his projects from field to finish.
Chad is well versed in boundary, topography and ALTA
surveys using electronic data collection and RTK. He
is also experienced in surveying oil refinery, pipeline
staking, as-builts, and construction staking. Chad has
been instrumental in a number of projects out of state
including working on Kinder Morgan 12” lines in
Tuscan, mapping pipelines from Phoenix, Arizona to El
Paso Texas and numerous projects in Nevada and Colorado.
Jeff Farless,
LSIT, Manager of GIS Operations and is a GPS specialist.
Jeff has a Bachelors of Science in Social Geography and
a minor in GIS from California State Monterey. Jeff works
with the cities and counties to record final maps, corner
records and record of surveys. He also manages our CAD
Department.
Steven Marquis,
Party Chief, is skillful in boundary, topography and ALTA
surveys, in addition to all forms of construction staking.
Tom
Lewis ,
Operations Manager / Party Chief. Tom has a Bachelor
of Arts in Business Management. Tom has over 6 years
experience in the surveying industry, with over 3 years
of that specializing in the petroleum and chemical industry.
Tom has been a key member on many large scale pipeline
projects including Kinder Morgan’s east line expansion
phase 2 and numerous Southern California Gas Company projects. Prior to
joining RSM, Tom served as President of TLC Transport,
and held executive management
positions at Home Depot and Hughes Supply.
